Scenarios

  • What is sugaring?

Sugaring is an ancient egyptian hair removal technique, ideal for sensitive skin. Made mainly from sugar, lemon, and water, it creates a moldable paste that attaches to the hair follicle and gently removes hair from the root, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and exfoliated.

  • How long should my hair be before I book an appointment?

Hair should be about ¼ inch (roughly the length of a grain of rice) for best results.

  • Is sugaring painful?

Sugaring pain levels vary from person to person. Most consider it less painful than waxing, while others describe it as an uncomfortable sensation rather than a painful experience. After consistent sugaring, a natural tolerance will develop, resulting in less pain over time.

  • What are the benefits of sugaring?

Sugaring is gentle on the skin, applied at room temperature, eco-friendly, and naturally exfoliating. Regular treatments (every 4-6 weeks) can lead to finer, slower regrowth, leading to a more pleasant experience.

  • How long does sugaring last?

Sugaring generally lasts for 3 to 6 weeks. Depending on your hair growth cycle, the area being treated, proper after care, and getting sugared regularly. Over time, clients experience prolonged results when booking every 4-7 weeks. Your technician will assess your hair growth and recommend when the right time is to rebook.

  • What areas of the body can & can't be sugared?

Sugaring can be performed on almost all areas of the body, including the face, arms, underarms, legs, groin and pelvic area, back, chest, and stomach. It's safe for sensitive skin and delicate areas when done by our expert technicians. Some areas may have deep interwoven hair follicles that make sugaring extremely painful. Your technician will inform you where those parts are and avoid them during your appointment.
